Going back over the pre-digital era when I was always trying to photograph things, and getting poor results without good equipment.

is often by people in love with their colors, not realizing the mess and work it takes to keep
 a lory. Lories and lorikeets are fun and colorful birds that can be excellent pets when kept by knowledgeable owners who are able to keep up with their mess and who feed them properly.

She was an imported bird, I purchased from a home  where she flew around and the p[eople had a new born baby they were concerned about her hurting.

Scooter turned out to be a wonderful pet bird after I worked with her for a while.
